Next week Enniskillen Amateur Dramatic Society (EADS) brings period drama to the Ardhowen stage with a three-night run of Terence Rattigan's celebrated play The Winslow Boy.

Rattigan's play centres on what happens after 14-year-old Ronnie Winslow (played by Luke Todd) returns home early from Naval College having been accused of stealing. His parents are asked to withdraw him from College.

His father Arthur (Nick Young) supported by his suffragette sister Catherine (Sarah Saunderson) fight to clear his name.

Their fight is not without financial and emotional cost to the family including his mother Grace (Aly Finlay) and brother Dickie (Phil Cassidy). The family is supported by family solicitor Desmond Curry (David Wilkinson) and engage the celebrated barrister Sir Robert Morton (Billy Mulligan) to act on their behalf. Michael Boyle returns to the stage as John Watherstone, Catherine's fiance, Christine Irvine plays Violet the maid and Rosie Lendrum takes the part of Miss Barnes, a newspaper reporter.

The play is being directed by Barbara Johnston and Helen Stuart. Ken Saunderson is designing the set.

The Winslow Boy is being staged at the Ardhowen Theatre on Thursday, February 9, Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11.
