Some of the Ederney Strictly dancers.

This Saturday, the best kept secret in Ederney will be unveiled -- the identities of the partners who will be competing in 'Ederney Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 16 dancers are already in training for this eagerly awaited event which will take place on Friday, July 27 as part of the 2012 Party in the Park Festival.

Demand for tickets for Strictly has been unprecedented and we are predicting a sell out crowd for what will be an unmissable night of entertainment in the largest marquee Ederney has ever hosted. Tickets will only be on sale at the launch night, at St. Joseph's Hall this Saturday night. Doors open at 6.30pm.

Also in this year's festival there will be the annual 5k/10k run commencing at noon on Saturday, July 28. The fabulous 'More Power to Your Elbow' will be rocking the village on Saturday night. Sunday, July 29 sees an action packed family fun day with bouncy castles, rodeo bull, gladiator duel, assault course, vintage cars, craft and food stalls, a traditional music session and a disco.
