Country sweetheart's festive dates

There's plenty of festive entertainment at Mahon's Hotel this Christmas.

Country's sweetheart Lisa McHugh, who recently received the Artist of the Year 2012 Award in the Northern Nashville Country Music Club in Scotland.

Lisa's latest promotional single entitled 'Why'd Ya Come In Here' is getting a huge reaction on both national and local radio and a DVD of the single already has 50,000 'hits' on YouTube. It is presently one of the most popular tracks shown on all relevant programmes on Sky Tv's Showcase channel 191, including Hot Country, Ireland West Music TV, Phil Mack International Country Show and Music Express.

She appears live in Mahon's Hotel, Irvinestown on Thursday, December 27.

She also plays Tempo Community Centre on New Year's Eve.

Meanwhile, Mahon's Hotel hosts the Whistling Donkeys, a lively, entertaining and highly accomplished six-piece Irish folk band hailing from County Tyrone, tomorrow, Friday December 21.
