LACK man Thomas Milligan will perform at the Honky Tonk Country Music Weekend in Carron’s Corner Bar, Ederney, on Saturday night.

Music is in Thomas’ blood. His father played button key accordian and was a Traditional Irish Music player and Thomas was singing with the band from an early age.

The family listened to many of the great singers in Ireland at the time including Big Tom, Larry Cunningham, Philomena Begley and Brian Coll on the radio and at local dance halls and Thomas fell in love with the music.

He went on to sing in the local band scene at the age of 18 and then formed his own band a few years later.

The Thomas Milligan Band played the length and breadth of Ireland and was soon packing the venues out with people eager to hear the local talent.

Thomas will take to the stage in Ederney on Saturday night while Seamus Moore (The JCB Man) and Slim Attraction will perform on Friday night.
