And a real treat is in store at Ardhowen on Tuesday, October 28, when Adele’s go-to pianist performs with his jazz trio, the Neil Cowley Trio, in an evening of what promises to be intoxicating and powerful musical dexterity.

DECLAN NERNEY IN CONCERT Michael Magill Entertainments presents Declan Nerney In Concert tonight at 8pm.

With his unique falsetto singing voice and great musical ability Declan Nerney has been part of the Irish music scene for many years. Born in the town of Drumlish in County Longford he started at the age of 16 in local band, the ‘The Hi-Lows’. His big break came with his autobiographical song ‘The Marquee in Drumlish’. Declan has a huge following not only in Ireland but in Scotland and England and appears in the charts on a regular basis.

Declan’s special guest for the evening will be Brendan Quinn, aka ‘The Mighty Quinn’, a legend in his own right having shared the stage with performers such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers and Kris Kristofferson.

MARY BYRNE IN CONCERT Mary Byrne’s story is the stuff of fairytales and movies. In the 2010 X Factor, she won the hearts of millions with her big, warm personality and powerhouse voice. Mentored by Louis Walsh, Mary’s fellow semi-finalists included One Direction and Matt Cardle. Since then, she has performed for the Queen on her historic State visit to Ireland and shared the stage with Neil Diamond to perform for over 55,000 fans.

Having achieved multi-platinum status on previous albums, Mary has just released her third album, ‘Magic of the Musicals’ which features classic songs from old musicals updated with a ‘Bublé’ style swing!

As part of her tour of Northern Ireland, Mary Byrne and her eight piece band perform at Ardhowen on tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm.

KEVIN MCALEER Tyrone’s biggest space cadet lands in the Ardhowen Theatre for another evening of non-stop laughs and first class comedy nonsense.

McAleer chooses every word with care, and his writing has been compared to Beckett or Flann O’Brien, but the timing and droll delivery are uniquely his own.

He has influenced a whole new generation of comedians in Ireland and the UK, but has lost none of the spark and invention that made him famous.

He performs at the Ardhowen on Saturday, beginning at 8pm. This show is suitable for 16+ years.

NEIL COWLEY TRIO On Tuesday, October 28, at 8pm, one of Britain’s brightest jazz groups, the Neil Cowley Trio present new material from their latest album, ‘Touch and Flee’.

London-based pianist Cowley gained considerable acclaim for his contributions to both of Adele’s multimillion-selling albums; he has also worked with the Stererophonics, Birdy, Professor Green and Emeli Sandé, but he’s clearly happiest when fronting his own group.

Sharpened by constant gigging and trading on significant word-of-mouth popularity, this trio have built up a formidable reputation with their powerful, energetic piano workouts.

Prodigiously talented, Cowley began as a classical pianist and performed a Shostakovich piano concerto at the age of 10 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

His many talents as both pianist and composer see him equally at ease with rich dynamics and raw introspection, his take on jazz is refreshingly open and direct. Neil Cowley is joined by Rex Horan on bass and Evan Jenkins on drums.

Fizzing with energy, their rip-roaring riffs and hook laden tunes mark them as one of UK’s most exciting live bands.

THE LOGUES Castlederg based folk-rock band The Logues will be coming to the Ardhowen Theatre On Thursday, October 30, at 8pm, to “lift the roof off the place!” singer Logan McCool promises.

The band, formed in 2006 from the embers of a drunken jam session on St. Patrick’s Day.

Expect a highly energetic, party atmosphere with some great tunes, whether they are original songs from the band’s top-five-selling debut album (UK Folk Download chart) or their unique covers of artists from Springsteen to Avicci.

THE ELVIS SPECTACULAR Featuring CC Houlihan and The Sweet Sensations, ‘The Elvis Spectacular’ show returns to Ardhowen on Saturday, November 1, at 8pm.

This tribute to The King features the amazing Ciaran Houlihan, 2012 European Elvis Champion, in a totally live show with a band of talented musicians who will rock your socks off.

Now in its 18th year, this superb show takes a nostalgic trip through all the hits from the 50’s to the Las Vegas years.

The vocal talents of the beautiful Sweet Sensations, CC’s uncanny resemblance visually and vocally coupled with authentic costumes and all the moves make ‘The Elvis Spectacular’ a night not to missed.
