MOTHER GOOSE – An EGGcellent tale!

It’s panto time at Ardhowen. Oh no it isn’t! Oh yes it is! Meet Mother Goose, a poor penniless widow and her son Billy. Sadly, they face eviction from their home because they cannot pay the rent to the horrible Squire. Luckily, fortunes are about to look up when a goose named Priscilla lands on their doorstep direct from fairyland and the goose lays golden eggs. Mother Goose finds herself the richest person in the land but can all this new found wealth bring her happiness?

Panto runs from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday, January 17, and just a few seats remain so please contact the Box Office for availability.

GAY BYRNE – LIVE ON STAGE On Thursday, January 22, at 8pm, the Ardhowen Theatre is proud to host a unique opportunity to spend some time in the presence of Ireland’s legendary broadcaster, Gay Byrne, as he reminisces about his life and times in a live performance. AN EVENING WITH DOMINIC KIRWAN Dominic Kirwan, one of Ireland’s best and most popular concert performers, embarks on a nationwide concert tour with his excellent band to coincide with the release of his new album. Dominic signed with the Ritz label under the guidance of Mick Clerkin in 1989 and had been on the road with his band for several years before he got ‘his break’. The release of ‘Try a Little Kindness’ came that Autumn.

Dominic has a style that has been impossible to pigeon hole in 25 years, comfortable with a ballad or a showband classic, at ease with country or a pop standard, Dominic has made his own mark, his own take on so many songs. The concert at Ardhowen Theatre features songs from his many albums as well as others from right across the country and pop music spectrum.

Relive the magical moments of one of Ireland’s finest entertainers as in his own inimitable style Dominic performs on Saturday, January 24, at 8pm in a show worthy of a visit for fans, for newcomers to the Omagh man’s vocal talent and for music lovers alike.
