MAYO man Gerry Guthrie, will be on stage at the Valley Hotel, Fivemiltown with his country band this Saturday night.
Gerry is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s top up and coming artists but in many ways, he is a veteran on the country and Irish music scene.
He played with Louise Morrissey, and toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland with Sandy Kelly and George Hamilton the IV in the sell-out Patsy Cline Tribute show.
He then decided to break out on his own and front a band and under the guidance of well-know Mainliners band leader, songwriter and band manager Henry Mc Mahon, Gerry’s career continues to go from strength to strength.
