FOLLOWING a gap of almost 35 years Ray Lynam and The Original Hillbillies have re-formed for their ‘Then and Now Tour’. The musical style of the band was way ahead of it’s time and has never been surpassed in the opinion of many.
Ray has a unique, instantly recognisable voice that has complimented each of his recordings, for example, ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’, ‘Mona Lisa’ and ‘The Gambler’.
Ray and all of the band members play as session musicians for other artists recordings. Everybody who saw and heard Ray and The Original Hillbillies on the Imelda May Show in August and the Late Late Show last May appreciate the excellence of their performances.
The special guest on this concert is Philomena Begley. Philomena and Ray have made many outstanding duet recordings over the years.
Fans of country music can expect a major concert treat with Ray Lynam and The Original Hillbillies on Wednesday, October 7, in the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen.
