Pat Maguire

MAGUIRE Pat The family of the late Pat Maguire (R.I.P.), mother Nancy, wife Doreen, step-daughter Dawn, brothers and sisters, Mary, Joseph, John, Ellen and Catherine, nieces and nephews, wish to express sincere thanks and appreciation to all who offered their condolences on the death of our beloved Pat. We thank especially all those who attended his wake and funeral, telephoned, sent letters, Mass and sympathy cards or made donations to the Palliative Care Unit in Omagh in lieu of flowers. We are grateful to all our neighbours and friends who helped out during Pat's wake. To those who brought food and refreshments, worked tirelessly in the kitchen and helped with car parking and to his friend Dessie who faithfully visited Pat in hospital, we are very thankful. We offer our special gratitude to Fr. Kevin Duffy for his deeply meaningful and comforting Funeral Mass in celebration of Pat's life. Thanks also to Concelebrants Canon Michael McGourty and Fr. Jim Moore and also for their spiritual guidance and visits to Pat in hospital and his home during his illness. We thank all those who contributed to making Pat's Funeral Mass so meaningful. To his nieces and nephews all of who ensured his Funeral Mass was a fitting tribute to his life. Thanks also to Gerry Quinn for the music and to Anne Molloy for providing the Altar Servers. To the Grave-diggers and George Beacom and his Team at the Bawnacre Centre and Parish Committee for providing refreshments afterwards. To the Medical Professionals who cared for Pat, Dr. McCaw and Doctors and Staff of Irvinestown Health Centre, Brendan Lilly and Staff in The Medical Hall and Pillbox Pharmacy. Thank you to the Staff of Ward 7 Altnagelvin Hospital and to Janet Kilfedder and all the Staff of the Palliative Care Unit in Omagh. We wish to thank you all for the professional care you offered Pat and for your invaluable acts of kindness and comforting support shown to him. Finally, many thanks to Claude McKervey Funeral Undertakers for the diginified and professional manner in which they carried out Pat's funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Pat's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 9th November at 7pm in Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown. "Always loved and sadly missed."
