DUFFY Packie Joe Glen East, Garrison Died 11th January 2019 Packie Joe`s wife Anne, his daughters Geraldine and Joanne, his sons Gabriel (Tracie), John (Gemma), sisters and entire family circle wish to express profound thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. The support of our relatives, neighbours and friends gave us immense comfort for which we are very grateful. We thank all who attended the wake and Funeral Mass especially those who travelled long distances, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned, sent text messages, gave donations to the Marie Curie fund and kept us in their thoughts and prayers. Sincere thanks to all who helped in any way throughout the wake. Thanks to those who prepared food and made tea, those who brought gifts of food to the home, those who sat up the three nights of the wake, those who installed the lights, those who organised the parking and those who drove people to and from the house. Packie Joe was blessed and spiritually supported over the years by so many. The family wish to express sincere thanks to Sister Rosa, Fr John Kearns, Fr Seamus Quinn, Fr John McKenna and Fr Gabriel Dolan. A special thanks to Fr Tiernach Beggan for overseeing the Funeral Mass and Eulogy and for the support he provided to Packie Joe during his illness. Special thanks to the readers, Eucharistic Ministers and the altar server. Thanks also to Louise and Ann for the beautiful singing and music at the Funeral Mass. We wish to thank all the medical and health care professionals, particularly a very warm word of thanks to all the carers whose gentle care of Packie Joe at home over the last two years was deeply appreciated. Thanks and gratitude to the doctors, district nurses, and receptionists at Rathmore Health Centre, Belleek, to Siobhan and staff of Melvin Pharmacy, Garrison and Marie and staff of MT McGuinness Pharmacy, Belleek. Thanks also to the Doctors, Nurses, OT`s, Social Workers, Physiotherapists and all the Staff at the S.W.A.H. Thanks to the out of hours Doctors and the staff of the Rapid Response Team. Special thanks to the Marie Curie nurses who cared so well for Packie Joe during his final hours.Thanks to the Funeral Directors Peter and Bernard Carty, and all their staff for the sensitive, dignified and professional manner in which they conducted the Funeral arrangements. Thanks to Dawn and staff at the Lough Melvin Holiday Centre for the wonderful meal. Due to the overwhelming support and messages of sympathy it would be impossible to acknowledge and thank everyone individually. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation to all. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. Packie Joe's Month Mind Mass will take place on Sunday the 17th of February at 11.30 am at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Garrison.
