JOHNSTON Alan Thomas James Alan's wife Barbara, son Lee (Liz), daughter Tara-Jayne (Jason) and the extended Johnston family wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thank you all who attended Alan's Funeral, joined us at Ballycassidy Funeral Home, sent cards or messages of sympathy. For the many kind friends and family who supported and comforted us at home throughout this time, we thank you all sincerely. Special thank you to Archdeacon Brian Harper and Rev Canon Mark Watson for a very beautiful Funeral Service. Thank you for their visits to Alan both at hospital and at home during his illness, also to Mrs Sue Hogg and Dean K. Hall, their pastoral care provided much comfort and support. Thanks to the organist Ms Barbara Somerville and church wardens Mr B Lee and Mr B Jackson.Thanks all who supported and cared for Alan throughout his illness. Thanks to the Staff Members of the SWAH, particular thanks to Ward 1 and 2 for their kindness shown to Alan and family. Also to Dr Meade's Practice, the Ambulance Service and to the A&E Department for their attentive care.Special thanks to both the Palliative Team based at SWAH and the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin for their specialist treatment and their caring attitude they extended to Alan and family throughout his treatment. We would also like to thank Irvinestown District Nurses, the Rapid Response Team, the Marie Curie Nurses and Hospice Specialist Nurses for their dedicated, caring attention when he was home especially in the latter days and the kindness shown to the family. Thank you to Austen Stinson (WT Morrison) for the dignified and caring manner in which he conducted the Funeral arrangements. Also Mr John Noble (grave digger). Thank you to all who have donated money in lieu of flowers in Alan's memory to the Marie Curie Nurses, they are very special people. As it is not possible to name everyone but we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all friends, neighbours and beyond as a token of our sincere thanks and gratitude for their support and attendance at this time. Thank you all.
