Published on 28/03/2019

MARTIN James, died 15th February 2019. Son John, Daughter in law Vanessa, Grandchildren and his sister Eileen would like to express their deep gratitude to all those who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. We sincerely thank all those good friends who called at our homes, provided food, attended the Funeral many of whom had travelled a long distance, sent sympathy cards, gifts and donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you to the bank of carers who called regularly with James in the years preceding his death which ensured he continued to live in his beloved home at Mullaghmore. A special word of thanks to the staff in the Coronary ward and latterly in Ward 2, SWAH who with excellent care ensured he was most comfortable during his short time there. Thank you to the Rev. Irwin for his pastoral care and words of comfort who conducted a lovely funeral service and the Rev Larry Power, a close friend and neighbour, for a heartfelt message during the service. Thank you to Mrs Anne Keys, the organist, and to the choir for leading a wonderful service of praise. To the ladies and one or two gentlemen of Colaghty Parish for the lovely tea in the Church Hall after the Service and a special thanks to Mrs Heather Kilfedder for her loving kindness and support to Eileen on the day of the funeral. Thank you also to Johnny Crozier for being there for the family and for his time and help around the family home. We would also like to acknowledge the sexton Mr Mervyn Kilfedder and his team for looking after the grave arrangements and to Mr. George McFarland the undertaker for the dignified way in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as an expression of our appreciation to all. Mullaghmore and Lack.
