CATHERINE Mc GOVERN

Mc GOVERN (nee O'Flanagan) Catherine (Kathleen) The husband Leo, sisters Mary (Jim), Peggy (Pat), brother Pat (Ann) and all the members of the O'Flanagan and McGovern families wish to express our appreciation for the many expressions of sympathy and kindness extended to us all following the loss of dear Kathleen. We would also like to thank all our neighbours and friends who provided invaluable assistance and help to us at such a very difficult time. Sincere appreciation to our Doctor Cunningham and Staff, Niall and Staff of Belcoo Pharmacy, Marie Poyntz and all the District Nursing Team, Wonderful Carers, Rapid Response and Marie Curie Nurses for the way they cared for Kathleen in such a respectful and compassionate way also all the members who formed a rota system to give her 24 hour care so that Kathleen was granted her wish to be at home. Many thanks also to those who called at the house, brought food, phoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended the Funeral and made a contribution to Marie Curie instead of flowers. To Ciara and her musical group who played so eloquently during the removal and Louise and Ann who provided the beautiful music during the Funeral. Kathleen had great faith and this was acknowledged by the many Priests who visited her and especially Fr Seamus Quinn who visited her regularly and prayed with her and with Fr Michael received her remains and concelebrated Mass with Fr Niall Martin next day. To Belcoo G.F.C. for their guard of honour, it was very much appreciated and also their Members along with the local Parish Committee Members for the traffic control both at the house and church. Finally to Pascal and Jim Conway for the caring and professional manner they carried out the Funeral arrangements also John McGovern for the diligent job in preparing the grave and the two girl Mass Servers who did their job so reverently. Kathleen's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Holywell on Saturday 3rd August at 7.30pm.
