GREGORY MCANENEY

McANENEY Gregory We the family of the late Greg McAneney wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who attended Greg's wake, Funeral Mass and burial at Cross Cemetery. Special thanks to the family members, kind friends and neighboours who helped in the home, brought gifts of food and flowers and gave us much comfort and support. We are grateful to all who have had Mass celebrated for Greg; those who have written to us and sent sympathy cards; we very much appreciate your kindness. Thank you to the many who travelled long distances to be with us and also to those who, unable to join with us, participated in Greg's Funeral Service via the St Michael's Parish web cam. A special thank you to Fr Raymond and Martin Donnelly, Deacon, for the most meaningful Funeral Liturgy in celebration of and thanksgiving for Greg's life. We thank also the readers, Eucharistic Ministers and Jimmy our sacristan and all who contributed in any way to our Funeral Liturgy. Our gratitude in a special way also to Claire Gunn, soloist, whose choice of music was so uplifting and so perfect in execution. Thank you Claire. A most sincere thank you to Fr Raymond for Greg's spiritual Care when in hospital and special thanks to Sister Rosa, hospital Chaplin, for her consoling daily visits. Our thanks also to Monsignor Peter, Fr Joe and Martin Donnelly, Deacon, who visited and prayed with us at Greg's wake. Our grateful thanks to Fr Noel for his attendance at Cross Cemetery and his leading of the prayers of commital. Heartfelt thanks to Peter Carty, Undertaker, for his kindness, guidance, attention to detail and professionalism at all times. We are indebted to you Peter. A special thank you to both Dr Leonard and Dr Davis for their care, compassion and time spent with us prior to Greg's hospital admission. May we also thank the reception staff at Lakeland Medical Practice for their helpfulness at all times. We also wish to commend the exemplary care given to Greg during a free day in A&E at SWAH prior to his hospital admission. The staff in Ward 1, SWAH, continued that care during Greg's 10 day illness, going far beyond the call of duty to deliver compassionate, professional, medical and nursing care. To all staff in Ward 1, including Marian and Dr McCaffery our family say a heartfelt thank you. Finally a word of thanks to The Westville Hotel for providing refreshments after the funeral. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the goodness of the many who have helped us at this time of sorrow. Greg's Months Memory Mass will be celebrated on Sunday next, Septemeber 22nd at 10.30am in St Michael's Church, Enniskillen.
