WEIR George The wife and family of the late George Weir, Tiermacspird, wish to express heartfelt thanks for the sympathy, support and kindness received during our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to our good friends and neighbours who helped out in any way possible, who called at the house, brought refreshments, helped with the tea, sent sympathy cards and attended the Funeral. Thanks to those who visited him in hospital, with special thanks to Emily for her kindness. To the Rev. Alan Irvine for his pastoral care and for conducting a lovely Funeral Service. We would like to thank the Ladies who provided tea in Colaghty Church Hall after the Service and the Church Members who helped with arrangements and the Organist Anne Keys. Special thanks to the kind Carers and to the District Nurses for their help and care to him at home and to the Doctors and Staff of Irvinestown Health Centre, to the Pharmacist and Staff of Gordons Chemist for their attention over the years. Appreciation also to the Doctors and Staff of A&E Wards 5 and 6 in South West Acute Hospital for the care they gave. Thanks to Mr. George McFarland for the dignified manner in which the arrangements were carried out and to the Gravediggers. We are grateful to all who gave donations to Colaghty Parish Church in lieu of flowers. As we cannot thank everyone personally, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a small token of our sincere appreciation.
