MAMIE DE LACY

De LACY Mamie 10 The Paddocks, Belcoo Died 3rd March 2020 The family of the late Mamie De Lacy wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. We thank our neighbours, friends, and family for their kindness, generosity and support. A very special word of gratitude to all who sent food and tirelessly assisted during the wake. A heartfelt thank you to all those that called at the family home, attended the removal and funeral Mass, especially those travelling long distances to be with us at this time. Thank you to all who sent messages of condolence, Mass cards, sympathy cards, brought gifts and gave donations to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers. Thanks to Fr Fintan McKiernan who led the prayers for Mamie before her remains left the family home. Special thanks to Fr Seamus Quinn, Fr Niall Martin and Fr Maurice McMorrow for concelebrated the beautiful and meaningful Requiem Mass. Our thanks to Holywell Parish Choir for enriching the Mass with their beautiful singing and music. Thanks to the sacristan, Eucharistic ministers, and all who contributed to the liturgy of the Mass. Also thanks to the car parking attendants who managed the flow of traffic during the wake and funeral. We express thanks to Fr Seamus Quinn for his spiritual support and kindness to Mamie. We are grateful to all who attended Mamie with dignity and compassion including her wonderful carers from Lakeland Community Care. The family would like to thank all staff at the Devenish Medical Practice Enniskillen and in particular Dr Guette for his exceptional support and care. Sincere thanks to Belcoo Pharmacy for all their support. Our appreciation and thanks to the Community District Nurses, NI Hospice Nurse Specialist, Marie Curie Team, Palliative Care Team and Rapid Response Team whose excellent care and support meant we could care for Mamie at home. Thanks to St Aidan's High School Derrylin for their support and fitting guard of honour. Heartfelt gratitude to Paschal Conway for the dignified and professional manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. Also, appreciation for the gravedigger who prepared Mamie's final resting place. Special thanks to the Customs House and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral in the Community Centre and all those who helped. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. Mamie's Month's Mind Mass will be broadcast on Saturday, 4th April, at 7:30pm from St Patrick's Church, Holywell, Belcoo via webcam.
