BLAKE Sr Christine, RIP The Sisters of Mercy and the family of Sr. Christine Blake wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on her passing, all who attended her wake, the removal of remains, the Funeral Mass, and all who sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy. They wish to express their gratitude to those who cared for Christine in her failing health over the past number of years, the Manager and staff at the Convent, the medical staff at Lakeside Medical Practice, Hughes Pharmacy , carers from Lakeland Community Care, the dedicated staff of Milverne Residential Care Enniskillen, and St. Macartan's Home, Clogher. Much gratitude to V. Rev. Canon Noel Mc Gahan and to Rev. P.J. Gormley, SMA (Christine's cousin) who attended her during her final illness, praying with her and with her family. Together with the local Sisters of Mercy they surrounded her with gentle care and concern. Sincere thanks to the concelebrants of Christine's Funeral Liturgy, Monsignor Peter O'Reilly (main celebrant and homilist), V. Rev. Canon John McKenna, V. Rev. Canon Michael Mc Gourty, and Rev. Anthony O'Leary, CP. Thanks to Sr. Marie Cox for her sensitive musical accompaniment, and to the staff and students of Holy Trinity and Mount Lourdes for their guards of honour. Thanks to Pat Blake, Funeral Directors , Derrylin, for their respectful and efficient care for the funeral arrangements. Sr. Christine's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 6p.m. on Saturday May 9th in St. Michael's Parish Church, Enniskillen, and can be viewed on the parish webcam.
