BRIAN MC ALEER

Published on 04/06/2020

Mc ALEER The heartbroken family of the late Brian Mc Aleer (R.I.P) wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sudden, sad bereavement. Special thanks to the paramedics who carried out their duty and showed respect and compassion to Brian's family. To the PSNI especially Constable Patterson for the dignified, compassionate and respectful way he carried out his duty. We are grateful to all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, texts, telephoned and tributes through social media. To all our kind neighbours who brought food and flowers. To Mahon's Hotel for providing meals. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Trillick Surgery for their care of Brian. To Brendan Lilley and his staff for the years of help and support they gave to Brian. Sincere gratitude to all our neighbours, friends and relatives who formed guards of honour the evening Brian's remains returned home and once again to all those who lined the road from our home to Brian's final resting place. To all the staff of Irvinestown Businesses who shut their premises and stood outside as a mark of respect. It was very emotional but a great support and comfort to us at such a difficult time. A special word of thanks to Fr Eugene Hasson, Fr Kevin Mullan, Fr Joe Gormley, Fr Kevin Mc Elhennon and Fr Declan Mc Geehan for their prayers and words of comfort. To Canon Michael Mc Gourty and Fr Kevin Duffy for their telephone calls and continued comfort, support and prayers. Sincere gratitude to Canon John Mc Kenna for his prayers for the dying, Masses, for all the years of help and support to our family and for his continued prayers and support. To Fr Padraig Mc Kenna for his prayers when Brian's remains came home, his visit next day to comfort and pray with us and for his prayers at the graveside. Thanks to the gravediggers who prepared the grave. Sincere gratitude to Claude McKervey Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and compassionate way they carried out the funeral arrangements and to Claude for his continued advice and support. We are most grateful and appreciative to all those who gave generous donations in lieu of flowers to N I Chest, Heart and Stroke. To those who helped in any way your contribution has made our loss more bearable in these difficult times. To all our neighbours, friends and relatives who continue to support us by text and telephone we are deeply grateful to you all. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for your kindness, support and prayers at this sad time.
