VERA CORRY

Published on 04/06/2020

CORRY Vera, 25th April 2020. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped our mother over the past months. From her diagnosis the doctors, nurses and carers were exceptional. Their kindness and gentleness and the respect they showed was humbling. We as a family are forever grateful for your professionalism and humanity under difficult circumstances. We also thank Fr McManus and Claude McKervey for your sensitivity and Ederney should be very proud of you both. To the people of Ederney; words cannot express our gratitude, the reception from the funeral parlour to our home was very emotional. The guards of honour and again on the funeral morning the people showing respect was overwhelming. To Pat and Micky the gravediggers, all we can say is a huge thanks. The respect you showed mum was clearly visible in the way you completed her final resting place. We as a family have been inundated with phone calls, sympathy cards and kind words over the last few weeks. Please accept our most heartfelt appreciation at this sad time. May God watch over you all. Home will never be the same again. We all miss you and love you so very much. Michael, Marian (Caolan, Sean, Dermot and Oisin); Aiden, Collette (Una, Mark, David and Aideen); Fergal, Pauline (Cormac, Eoin, Ronan and Declan); Conor, Deirdre and Shania, Joseph and Ellie and Aimee. Also sadly missed by mum's brothers and sisters: Martina, Mary, Irene, Geraldine, Seamus, Gerald, Noel and Gabriel, the entire Corry family and the many good friends and neighbours. May you rest in peace Mum.
