KEOWN Michael Carran West, Garrison, Co Fermanagh 29th May 2020 The family of the late Michael Keown would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We sincerely thank all those who telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards, text messages, letters of condolence, social media messages both to us personally and to our business, and the many gifts of food and flowers. We were all greatly touched and comforted by the number of friends, relations, neighbours, business colleagues, members of Devenish GFC and former colleagues from Tracey Brothers who stood to honour Michael on his final journey from Carran West to Garrison village. Grateful thanks to all our good friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways during our bereavement. A special mention of thanks to the medical staff in the Palliative Care Unit, Omagh Hospital, Medical Ward 2, SWAH, the North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital and the District nurses from Rathmore Clinic Belleek for the wonderful care, support and treatment that Michael received during his short illness. Thanks to the Omagh Hospital Chaplain for attending to Michael whilst in hospital. Sincere thanks and appreciation to Peter Carty, Funeral Director, and his staff for the professional, supportive and dignified manner in which Michael's funeral arrangements were conducted given the current restrictions. Thanks also to Fr. Tiernach Began who presided over the graveside prayers, to Maeve Carty for organising the music for the service, and Tony Keown for videoing the proceedings. To all those who helped in any way, your contribution has made our loss more bearable. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of sincere appreciation and profound gratitude. A memorial mass to celebrate and give thanks for Michael's life will be celebrated at a future date.
