PATRICK MURPHY

MURPHY Patrick (Pat) We, the family of the late Patrick (Pat) Murphy of Ballyreagh, Tempo, wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We thank neighbours and friends who brought food; all those who sent cards, letters, messages and flowers, and the many friends who came out to pay their respects along the funeral route, all of which was greatly appreciated by us at this difficult time. We thank members of Cavanacarragh Pipe Band, Coa O'Dwyers GFC, Tempo Maguires GFC, St Macartan's Choir, the Co Fermanagh Section (RSPBANI) and staff of Erne Integrated College for their guards of honour; all those who assisted with traffic control; members of New Ross & District Pipe Band for playing at the church; Sarah Cox for the beautiful singing at the funeral Mass; Ciaran Carson for providing speakers and sound; Marie Perrett for preparing the church; Daniel McCann for the graveside lament; Fr PMcKenna who presided over a moving celebration of the funeral Mass, along with a special word of thanks to Fr John Halton and Canon John McKenna who provided spiritual support. We extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of SWAH, Dr McConville and the staff of Lakeland Health Village, Dr O'Kane and the staff of Tempo Medical Centre, the Community Nursing Team, the Palliative Care Team, Marie Curie staff and the wonderful carers, all of whom helped to look after Dad with such kindness and attention, as well as the support of Cancer Connect NI. We thank sincerely John McKeegan for the dignified and personal way he oversaw all the funeral arrangements and those who prepared Dad's final place of rest. A special word of thanks is due to those who have made donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie and Cancer Connect NI. Dad will be remembered for his kindness, love and support to us all. Sadly missed by his children Ciar(Karen), Sean (Mary), Claire, Mairead (Andy), Catherine (Martin) and Iggy (Edele), stepsons Noel (Susan), Donal (Eithne), Shaun (Brenda) and Martin (Sheena), his sister Sr Gertrude, nephews, nieces and grandchildren. Owing to Covid-19 restrictions, Dad's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated privately. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually for their support, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. You will be remembered with gratitude in our thoughts and prayers.
