JOAN LUNNY

LUNNY Joan (née Fitzpatrick) Wife of the late Kevin Lunny Old Rossorry Road Enniskillen Died 7th June 2021 Joan's Sons, Daughters, Grandchildren, Brothers, Sisters and extended family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent, sad bereavement. We wish to express our gratitude to all who called at the family home, telephoned, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and flowers and to all our friends and neighbours who respectfully expressed their sympathy outside the house and church. Thanks to the Paramedic Team who attended to Joan at her home on the day she took ill, including our kind neighbour Mr Tom Allen. Our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated work of the Doctors and Nurses who attended Joan in the Emergency Dept and Ward 1 at the SWAH. We want to acknowledge the Doctors and Staff of Lakeside Medical Practice as well as the Staff of Erne Pharmacy who supported Joan over the years. Sincere thanks to Fr Raymond Donnelly who attended Joan in the SWAH and celebrated her Funeral Mass. We are most grateful for his eloquent sermon and reflection on Joan's life. Thanks also to our good friend Fr Brendan Mc Manus S.J. who concelebrated the Mass and led the prayers at the graveside. We would also like to thank Mons. P O'Reilly, Fr J Mc Veigh and Deacon M Donnelly for their kindness and support when they called to visit Joan. Special thanks to Sharon Kelly, Eoghan Corrigan, Helena Palmer and Donal Lunny for the beautiful music and singing as well as Joan's granddaughters Grace, Judith and Fionnuala, who sang at Communion. Thanks also to Jimmy Rogers, Church Sacristan. We extend thanks to the Staff and Pupils of St Joseph's College for their attendance outside the Church. Our deepest appreciation to Paul and Mary Keenan and Brendan Hynes, Love Funeral Directors, for their dignified, caring manner in carrying out the Funeral arrangements. Thanks too to the Gravediggers at Cross Cemetery. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Joan's Months' Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 17th July at 6pm in St Michael's Church, Enniskillen.
