We are indebted to Emily's mum Charmaine and Maggie, to Shane's aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends who helped in numerous ways on that morning, throughout the wake and since; your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Thank you to the Emergency Services for your prompt response and your compassionate and professional approach; to the many relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues who called to our home, brought food, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, telephoned or shared condolences via social media and those who stood out along the funeral route; your presence greatly supported us in those difficult days and we appreciate the wonderful memories and kind comments shared about Shane. A special thank you to Shane's many young friends for attending and for your support and friendship to him over the years. A sincere thank you to the Principal, staff and pupils of Gaelscoil na gCrann, Omagh for your support to Emily during those difficult days and for your guard of honour at the Church. Sincere thanks to Canon Noel McGahan PP Clogher for attending Shane that morning and for your spiritual guidance throughout the following days. We greatly appreciate the moving Requiem Mass and the most fitting homily; thanks also to the concelebrant Fr PJ Gormley SMA. Thank you to the readers and gift bearers for contributing to a very memorable Mass and also to the Eucharistic Ministers and to Phelim Mulrine for the livestream. Thank you to Clare McGovern and Brendan Trainor for the most fitting music which greatly enhanced the Mass. We are indebted to the medical and nursing staff of the Children's Haematology Unit RBHSC and the NI Haemophilia Centre, BCH for your wonderful treatment and care of Shane throughout his childhood and young adulthood, you became his second family during those difficult years. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Joe and Bridie Marlow, Funeral Directors and Brendan McKenna for your professionalism, compassion and meticulous attention to detail in guiding and supporting us through the funeral arrangements and preparation of Shane's final resting place. A huge thank you to Alan and Jill for the tractor escort to the church how pleased Shane would have been, to be escorted on his final journey by the tractor he loved best. Our grateful appreciation also to Kelly's Inn, Garvaghey for the refreshments following the burial. Our appreciation also to all who have made donations to the NI Haemophilia Centre in lieu of flowers, raising in excess of £1000 to date. Finally, we are truly overwhelmed by, and indebted to, all who have supported us through Shane's sudden passing and in the difficult weeks since. It would be impossible to thank all of you individually and hope we have not omitted anyone from this acknowledgement. As a small token of our appreciation, we shall arrange for a Mass to be offered for the intentions of all. Shane's Month's Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 30th July 2022 at 7.00pm in St Patrick's Church, Clogher and may also be viewed on the Parish of Clogher Facebook page.
