CHASE away those January blues with a night of fun and laughter at The Ardhowen. Lakeland Players’ panto presentation ‘Dick Whittington’ continues until this Saturday, January 16, and will be followed by the incredible David Meade in ‘Fake Believe!’ on Friday, January 22, and Saturday, January 23.

Lakeland Players' hugely successful pantomime ‘Dick Whittington’ runs until Saturday, January 16. Written by Stephen Duckham, this tale of young Dick and his cat travelling to London to make his fortune is full to the brim with all the usual mad antics and laughs.

Evening performances are at 8pm and the weekend matinee is at 3pm. Check with the Box Office for availability.

DAVID MEADE MINDREADER - FAKE BELIEVE

Due to demand, TV’s Million Dollar Mindreader, David Meade, has scheduled an extra night for his amazing brand new show - Fake Believe!

First and foremost an entertainer, David uses a huge array of techniques to create the impression that he can read minds resulting in a show that is as hilarious as it is jaw-dropping. He reveals PIN numbers, detects lies, uncovers secret thoughts and influences those around him with seemingly inexplicable results.

David’s 2016 tour is set to be the biggest and best to date – he performs at The Ardhowen on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23, at 8pm.

DEREK RYAN

Derek Ryan and his band return to The Ardhowen for three nights on Thursday, January 28, Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30, at 8pm.

From the age of 12, Derek Ryan had showbiz aspirations in his blood.

Derek has recently celebrated his fourth year touring Ireland with his band.

His most recent album, ‘The Simple Things’ topped the Irish charts, overtaking some big names for the top spot. The album includes hit singles ‘Flowers In Your Hair’ and ‘Hold Onto Your Hat’ featuring Sharon Shannon. Tickets for Derek’s shows are selling fast so book now to avoid disappointment.
