Learning disability charity, Mencap Northern Ireland, launched their brand new Tea Party event last Wednesday, November 8.

Sorcha Conway, from Belcoo, a Communications Assistant for the charity, is encouraging everyone in Fermanagh to organise a Mencap Big Tea Party at home, work, school or in their community. 

Sorcha Conway, Mencap Communications Assistant said: “It’s great to work for a charity that helps so many people with a learning disability across Northern Ireland. 

“Mencap’s Big Tea Party is the perfect opportunity to support our work to ensure people with a learning disability, their families and carers are supported to lead their lives in the way they choose.”

Mencap’s Big Tea Party is a brand new event for the charity and will help raise vital funds to support people with a learning disability, their families and carers right across Northern Ireland.

Jonathan Hanna, Mencap Community Fundraiser said they’re so proud to launch Mencap’s Big Tea Party this autumn across Northern Ireland.
