Brookeborough young entrepreneur, Annika Latimer had the chance to shake hands with Royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their surprise visit to Northern Ireland on Friday.
The student pharmacist and former pupil at Collegiate Grammar School caught the eye of Ms. Markle who complimented Annika on her beige and pink coat.
Annika is the owner of ‘Cakes by Annika’, the winner of the Northern Ireland Wedding Awards Cake Designer of the Year for Fermanagh for the last two consecutive years.
During her conversation with Ms. Markle, she took the opportunity to offer her cake-baking expertise ahead of the Royal couple’s big day on May 19.
Prince Harry and his fiancée visited four locations on their surprise trip to Northern Ireland on Friday, including Belfast’s famous Crown Liqour Saloon.
It was during their walkabout after lunch at The Crown that Annika had the opportunity to speak with them briefly.
Their visit was part of a series of engagements ahead of their wedding at Windsor Castle in St. George’s Chapel on May 19.
