BELCOO teenager Colum Higgins is celebrating success at the Irish National Dancing Championships at the end of last week.
The 14-year-old was named the overall winner in his age category during the competition at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin.
A pupil of the McConomy Bradley Doherty Academy, Colum is a dedicated performer, travelling four hours to attend his dancing class three times a week.
Recently his dancing school has opened in Enniskillen one day a week, taking the pressure off Colum and his family.
He is a student at St. Michael’s College, Enniskillen.
This is his second title win, and he is hoping to continue the success at the next major in Bristol at the end of August.
He and his family have extended thanks to his teachers whom they say have provided him with fantastic support and guidance.
