A great night was had by all who attended the BT reunion on Friday October 12 at the Royal British Legion. Over 65 former BT employees were reunited for a night of reminiscing and sharing of photographs from bygone days at the telephone exchange.
A great spread of food was also provided on the night which was followed by live music from Glenside Country.
Many travelled from across Northern Ireland and even further afield for the get-together. One of the event organisers, William Scarlett said: “We even had some old engineers who came from Staffordshire and other parts of England for the reunion.”
Commenting on the success of the reunion event, William said: “The place was buzzing. It was great to see so many people out for the night enjoying themselves. An event like that brings back great memories. It was a very good night.”
