Following the release of the first look image of ‘Normal People,’ starring Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson, lead producer on the film, Enniskillen’s Brian J. Falconer has confirmed that the film is currently in post production and will be completed in early 2019.

“Working with Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson, two of the best actors in the world, has been an incredible experience and I have loved working with writer Owen McCafferty and directors Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn,” he added.

‘Normal People’, directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn, is based on the script by celebrated Irish playwright Owen McCafferty and tells the story of long-married couple Joan (Lesley Manville) and Tom (Liam Neeson). The ease in the couple’s relationship has developed from a life time spent together, showing a depth of love that is expressed through tenderness and humour in equal measure. As Joan is unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer, the course of her treatment shines a light on their relationship as the couple are faced with the challenges that lie ahead. ‘Normal People’ is a story about love, survival and the epic questions that life throws at us.

A Canderblinks Films and Out of Orbit production, ‘Normal People’ is produced by the BAFTA award-winner and BFI Vision Awardee 2016, Brian J. Falconer for Out of Orbit, David Holmes for Canderblinks Films and Piers Tempest for Tempo Productions.
