FALLIS Gretta The family of the late Gretta Fallis, a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and cousin, who passed away on 11th October, express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them and shared their special memories of Gretta, including everyone who attended her Wake and Funeral and those who sent cards and gifts. We are most grateful to the Ambulance, Accident and Emergency Department, The Stroke Unit, Wards 1 and 2 and Palliative Care Team in SWAH who cared for Gretta following her stroke in January of this year, and during her recent period in hospital - when she needed much care. Our sincere thanks also, to the Staff at Drumclay Nursing Home for their excellent care and kindness, during the months she lived there. To her neighbours, friends and former colleagues, we extend our heartfelt acknowledgement of your kindness to, and regard for Gretta over the years, which she much appreciated. We are grateful too, for the pastoral support of the community at Darling Street Methodist Church, including the contribution of the Rev. Lorna Dreaning in the days before she passed away, of Rev. Sam McGuffin for his care in the earlier days of her recent illness and of the Rev. Robin Toner, who with Rev. Dreaning took part in her Funeral Service. Our thanks also to the hospitality team at the Church who cared for those attending the Funeral Service. We appreciate the guidance and support of Austen Stinson and his Colleagues at W.T Morrison's (Undertakers) in planning and carrying out the Funeral arrangements in a most thoughtful manner. The care and concern of many helped Gretta greatly in the last weeks and days of her life, and uplifted us at a difficult time. With warmest appreciation to all.
