Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a woman stole a safe from a commercial premises in a Fermanagh village on Thursday.
The incident took place yesterday evening in Ederney (Thursday, Feburary 7).
Detective Sergeant Keith Monaghan said: "We received a report at 6:35pm that a man and woman entered the shop and, as they spoke with a staff member, a second female entered the rear of the building and made off with a safe.
"Both women and the man then fled in a silver-coloured car, possibly a Toyota Yaris.
"I want to appeal to anyone who was in the premises around this time and saw what happened, or anyone who was in the High Street area and witnessed any suspicious activity to please get in touch with us on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1160 of 07/02/19."
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
