A fantastic night was had by all who attended the Masquerade Ball in aid of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention at the Westville Hotel last Saturday night.
The special event, which was organised by Emma Reilly who lost her two sisters, Shauna and Michelle (pictured below), to suicide, was well supported, with funds raised going towards the work of the Oak Healthy Living Centre, Lisnaskea in delivering mental health resilience programmes and suicide prevention.
During a poignant speech Emma gave at the event, she said: “Living with a mental illness has the same detrimental impact to an individual’s life as a physical one, only in a lot of respects, the illness is unseen, often hidden because of the stigma which still exists in society.
“Thanks to all of you for your love and support, and for making it possible. Whilst tonight we remember those we have lost, tonight is about hope,” said Emma.
