Large crowds came out to enjoy the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Enniskillen over the weekend. Organised by Project St. Patrick with support from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the festivities began in the Broadmeadow with a host of traditional and modern entertainment acts including local band Full Moon Fever, who added to the festival atmosphere of the day. There were plenty of activities on offer with bouncy castles and balloon modelling. Facepainting proved particularly popular with painted shamrocks adorning many a smiling face for the occasion.

The weather stayed favourable as young and old lined the streets for the vibrant St. Patrick’s Day parade. Themed floats and local performers delighted the crowds as the parade wove it’s way down the town centre. It was a great day of entertainment and fun for the whole family.
