A mouth-watering new taste experience has launched in Enniskillen, a culinary journey that begins and ends with the very best of Fermanagh food and drink.

From the aroma of Joe Kelly’s freshly baked bread to the delights of Glen Wheeler’s 28 Darling Street the guided walking tour, developed by Mark Edwards, aims to shine a spotlight on local produce.

Mark, who has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, spent several months perfecting his new project which launched earlier this month.

“We have run the Taste Experience on a number of Saturdays now and I have to say that the we have been blown away with the reaction, both from people visiting the town and also from locals. I think people are really surprised at the quality and diversity of what we have here in Enniskillen,” he said.

Beginning at Enniskillen Castle, Mark hopes exploring Ireland’s only island town will teach others about the “many great restaurants, cafes, local beers and gins, local food producers”.

“I just think we have so much to be proud of here in Enniskillen,” he said.
