Staff and students from across South West College (SWC) took to the Lakeland Forum in Enniskillen for the college’s first ever ‘Colourful Run’ in aid of The Education Foundation for South Sudan.
The 5km fun run/walk route around the scenic setting of the Lakeland Forum encouraged staff and students to get active and to support the College’s vision of building a primary school to help change the lives of children in the war-torn rural region of Rumbek (South Sudan).
The participants braved the bitter cold weather to complete the route and Brandon McGrinder, a Sports student at SWC Omagh was the first over the finish line in a super time of just over 17 minutes.
