There has been a spate of car burglaries in the Old Rossorry Road area of Enniskillen this week with seven separate reports made to police.
The thefts took place between 3.30 and 5.30am on Tuesday morning, April 16, and items stolen included a mobile phone, BOSE wireless headphones and sums of money.
Police are investigating the crimes and have appealed to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 434 of 16/04/19.
Constable Noble stated:
“I would take this opportunity to remind the public never to leave valuables of any kind in unattended vehicles, and please make sure that your vehicle is locked. Please don’t make it easy for the opportunistic thief. We fully investigate all reports, and would highlight the need for people to report suspicious activity as soon as possible. Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
