Police are appealing for information after the report of a stolen textile recycling container from Lisnaskea.
A spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland stated: "Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of the theft of a recycling container from a public carpark on Main Street, Lisnaskea."
It is understood that the purple coloured container was stolen sometime between Tuesday April 16 and Tuesday April 23.
PSNI Constable McCarroll said: "This was a despicable theft. The perpetrators have denied the charity this support and the children and their families who are at their most vulnerable, of valuable funds."
"I would ask - did you see any suspicious activity or vehicles around this recycling container between the April 16 and 23? If you did, have you any dash-cam footage? Do you have any information that could assist us with our enquiries? If you do, please contact police at Lisnaskea on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 314 24/04/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime," Constable McCarroll concluded.
