For the last 19 years Fermanagh Voluntary Association of the Disabled (FVAD) has held a social night every second and fourth Thursdays in a local community club.
And now with the help some generous people with a like-minded vision they have managed to transform a number of rooms into a new function rooms suitable for users.
On Thursday, April 25 the social night resumed after a long break from the centre with 45 people aged between 25 and 86 years old attending with the support from Carers, family members and volunteers ensuring it was a successful evening.
FVAD co-ordinator, Christopher Coulter, said he was overwhelmed by the support there is in the community for the association.
"I have been in post for 14 months and during this time support has been overwhelming and I know that without such kindness, a local charity founded in 1965 by local people in 1965 would, like others, be struggling," said Christopher.
