The case against a man charged with the murder of four people in a Derrylin house fire in February 2018 was once again adjourned at Fermanagh Magistrates Court.

The court heard that the papers in the case run to just under 900 pages.

Daniel Allen, the man accused of the murder, will return before the court on June 3.

Allen, with an address of Molly Road Enniskillen, appeared at Fermanagh Magistrates Court via video link yesterday (Monday). His solicitor, Gary Black, told the court that there was a significant amount of physical evidence that the defence had not been served with to this point.

District Judge Michael Ranahan asked the prosecution for an update on this matter with the prosecution stating they could not advise the court of a timeline.

Mr. Ranahan stated that he expected the prosecution to return to court on June 3 with a full update.

The date for a preliminary enquiry is yet to be fixed.
