Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a hit-and-run road traffic collision in Derrylin.

Speaking on behalf of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Constable Guerin said: "It was reported that the two-vehicle collision took place just before 7pm on Sunday. It’s believed that a dark-coloured Ford Focus, being driven in the area, hit and damaged the wing mirror of another vehicle. The driver of the Focus drove off.

The incident occurred in the Doon Road area of Derrylin on the evening of Sunday June 9.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area and who witnessed the collision, or who captured it on their dash cam, to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1618 of 09/06/19,” concluded Constable Guerin.
