Jewellery and a sum of money were stolen during a burglary of a house in Fivemiletown.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of forced entry at a house in the Willand Crescent area of Fivemiletown on the afternoon of Monday, June 17.

Speaking on behalf of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), Sergeant Walker said: “It was reported that sometime between 3pm and 5.20pm on Monday June 17 entry was forced to the premises jewellery along with a sum of money was stolen."

Sergeant Walker continued: “We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident to contact police at Dungannon Station on 101 quoting reference number 1506 of 17/06/19."

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime," Sergeant Walker concluded.
