The changeable weather is failing to dampen spirits at the Twelfth of July parade in Lisnaskea today.
Large crowds line the streets as over 90 local Private Lodges, members of the association of Loyal Orangewomen, Juniors and approximately 70 bands parade through the Fermanagh town towards the demonstration field.
Encompassing the entire county, the Fermanagh demonstration is also playing host to visiting Lodges from the Republic of Ireland, counties Donegal, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan.
Platform proceedings and the religious service are due to commence at 2pm at the demonstration field at Cushwash on the Newtownbutler Road and will be chaired by the new County Fermanagh Grand Master Paul Stevenson. County Grand Chaplain Reverend Rodney Beacom will be the guest speaker in the absence of Reverend Canon Mark Watson, Deputy County Grand Chaplain.
Collections have been taking place throughout the day in aid of Air Ambulance NI, this year’s designated charity for County Fermanagh Grand Orange Lodge.
