There was great success for Fermanagh at the Ulster Fleadh Cheoil with numerous competitors from CCÉs across the county winning top awards at the prestigious Irish traditional music event which took place in Castlewellan from July 22 to 28.

Julie-Ann McCaffrey of Botha CCÉ won two Ulster Titles at the Ulster Fleadh Cheoil, taking the Senior Ladies Title for Traditional Singing and gold for her Newly Composed Song, ‘The Brexit Plan’.Julie-Ann has won numerous Ulster Titles and All-Ireland medals to date and achieved the same double gold for both of these competitions in 2014.

Sean McAleer and Erin Whitley from Irvinestown CCÉ both won Ulster titles and will go on to represent Ulster and compete at the All Ireland Fleadh in Drogheda, Co. Louth on August 17 and 18.
