Due to the annual Royal Black Parade, motorists are advised to expect delays in the Brookeborough area this weekend.

The annual Co. Fermanagh demonstration hosted by the Royal Black Institution will take place in Brookeborough on Saturday, August 3.

Noting the scheduled road closure and diversions in operation due to the parade, a spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) stated: "The through-road at Brookeborough along the A4 will be closed between 11.45am and re-opening at 5.30pm."

He continued: "Traffic travelling from Enniskillen to Belfast will be diverted via Tempo and Clabby, to Fivemiletown at the Dublin Road/Tempo Road junction in Enniskillen. Belfast to Enniskillen bound traffic will be diverted via Clabby and Tempo to Enniskillen and will be diverted at Fivemiletown."

The PSNI highlighted that diversions associated with the current bridge redevelopment project in Lisnaskea will be from Fivemiletown to Lisnaskea via Tempo and Maguiresbridge. The spokesman added: "Diversion from Maguiresbridge will be via Abbey Road and Nutfield Road into Lisnaskea. Signage will be placed on this route to amend the existing diversions for Saturday."

Those attending the parade are advised that there will be no parking along Main Street and Station Road in Brookeborough. Parking will be permitted along both sides of the A4 to the entrance of the demonstration field.
