HIGH rise residents have been invited to a sprinkler demonstration event by the fire service.
Attendees will get the chance to watch a sprinkler system in action, which will involve fire safety officers setting two mock up rooms on fire to compare the fire damage between the room with a sprinkler and the one without.
The will take place at their Bury Training and Safety Centre on Saturday September 14.
The centre is the largest firefighter training facility in the UK.
Residents will also get a tour of the centre, where they will get to experience the power of fire in the immersive theatre, witness the impact of a car crash through the collision simulator and visit the 999 control room.
