A man arrested in the Belleek area will appear in court tomorrow (Friday) on a number of charges including attempted murder of a police officer.
The 38-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, making explosives with intent to endanger life or cause serious injury to property and possessing explosives with intent to endanger life or cause serious injury to property.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday, September 13. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges are in relation to the attempted murder of a police officer at Shandon Park Golf Club in east Belfast on Saturday, June 1.
