Gardai are back this morning searching a location in Cavan approximately 23 miles from where Kevin Lunney was abducted last Tuesday.
It is believed it is here where Mr. Lunney was tortured for almost three hours, though that will be dependent on confirming forensics and carrying out a technical examination.
Gardai were also carrying out searches yesterday of a site with scrap metal.
It is believed Mr. Lunney was tortured in the Republic of Ireland during the ordeal which lasted almost three hours. Since then a major cross Border operation has been ongoing between Gardai and the PSNI.
Last night, police officers were stopping traffic in Derrylin, close to the Fermanagh/Cavan Border.
