At a meeting of the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (FODC) at the Grange in Omagh tonight there was a protest held in relation to Dalradian Gold Ltd.

Protests have been ongoing over the past number of years against the potential of a gold mine in Greencastle, Tyrone.

The protesters spoke with Council officials at the stairs in the Grange building and chanted slogans.

They carried placards that included messages such as "FODC should act for the people not for a Canadian Mining Company".
