Irvinestown Primary School Parent Teachers’ Association has been working very hard on their fundraising efforts this term.

Not only have they organised and held their Annual School Sale but a subcommittee within the group have been busy organising a new School Cook Book.

The last time such a venture was undertaken was over 20 years ago. The sale of this cookbook will provide much needed funds to supplement resources and activities for all the children and the school is highly appreciative of the PTA’s efforts.

Mrs Read, the Principal commented, "This is the culmination of a very dedicated and hard working PTA and staff team. We really appreciate the local community for their financial support through advertising and for the donation of raffle prizes for the event. We are hoping for a great turn out and a very enjoyable evening."

The PTA will be launching the Cookbook at a special Cookery Demonstration on Wednesday, November 20 2019 at 8pm in the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown where local celebrity chef Mrs Paula McIntyre MBE of Radio Ulster, Newsletter fame will be entertaining the crowds with her cooking talents. Supper will be provided.

Tickets costing £10 are still available from the school office or Tom Read’s Menswear/Klass Design in Irvinestown.

It is sure to be a great night and all are welcome.  Cookery books will be on sale on the night and after the event.
