Huge crowds turned out in support of the special ‘Dancing with the Stars’ event at the Killyhevlin Hotel which raised £12,500 for charity on the night.

10 local couples from all sides of the community took to the dancefloor and showed off the dancing skills that they have developed over approximately eight weeks of training.

Three charities will benefit from the fundraising efforts including Cavaliers in Need NI, Air Ambulance NI and Safe Haven Enniskillen.

A big commitment was made by all involved as they juggled home and work life whilst treading the boards two/three, and towards the show , four/five times a week. Most of the participants had danced in ‘Not So Strictly’ during its six year journey and all in all 135 people have danced over the six years.

Comperes for the night were Ted Maye ,who has been part of the ‘Not So Strictly’ family from the beginning and Doreen Mullen, who was responsible for introducing ‘Not So Strictly’ to Fermanagh. The judges were Kevin Connors (former ‘Strictly’ star), Tommy McLaughlin (Mr. Nasty), Sarah Tierney (former ‘Strictly’ star and dance expert) and Orla Hynes (dance expert).

The winners were as follows; the overall winners and ‘Judges Choice’ were Mickey Greene and Tina Quigley, ‘The People’s Choice’ award went to Luke Padian and Pauline Taggart and the most entertaining dance went to Joey Reid and Lisa Clarke.
